J C Sum represents a new breed of world-class illusionists and is one of Asia's very few Mega Illusionists.

The Straits Times (Singapore’s national newspaper) calls him Singapore’s Most Famous Magician.

MagicSeen (Europe’s largest magic magazine) refers to him as The Ace in Asia

AsiaOne proclaimed J C as "one of the most celebrated magicians in Asia" and The Business Times highlighted that J C "brought magic into the mainstream market in Asia"

He is in constant demand throughout the region to produce
high-end illusion entertainment and design illusions for
special projects.

Channel News Asia has called J C and on-stage partner, 'Magic Babe' Ning, "Singapore's celebrity magic duo".

J C has been at the forefront of world-class illusion entertainment in Asia for the past 10 years. 

Besides his live illusion shows that have been staged across Asia Pacific, millions have seen J C on network and cable television.

On 28 Jan 2010, J C & Ning presented one of their most talked about mega acts ever. They correctly predicted the winning lottery numbers of Singapore's most well-known lottery in "The Impossible 4D Prediction".

In Aug 2009, 16,000 people witnessed
J C & Ning successfully attempt "Destination X", their biggest teleportation mega illusion ever by teleporting a full-sized car from one location to another.

In Jun 2009, J C & Ning set an official world record by presenting 15 illusions in 5 minutes in "The Impossible Record".

In 2008, J C & Ning teleported 3 people across the iconic Singapore River in 2.5 seconds, in what Channel News Asia called "South East Asia's Biggest Magic Event, "The Impossible Journey"

In 2007, J C staged South East Asia's FIRST EVER Mega Illusion - "The Impossible Teleportation" where he teleported 50 floors in 5 seconds while surrounded by more than 9,000 spectators.

As an international performer, J C has staged over 3000 shows across Asia Pacific as well as in the Middle East, France and the US. 

From 2008 - 2009, J C & Ning starred in "Ultimate Magic", Singapore's first magic attraction endorsed by the Singapore Tourism Board, at The Arena in Clarke Quay. The landmark show ran for 13 months.

In 2009, J C was awarded the coveted Merlin Award for "Most Original Illusionist of the Year 2009” by the International Magicians Society. The only other illusionist in Singapore to ever receive a Merlin award is Ning.

J C is also a recipient of a 'Master of Magic' award from the International Festival of Magic (Bangladesh) and the winner of 2 International Brotherhood of Magicians (U.S.A) 'Linking Ring' magic awards.

J C is also the most original prolific illusion designer and writer in the region. His wealth of experience, expansive knowledge base and sheer illusion creativity makes him the 'go-to' individual when it comes to designing magic in Asia.

He has designed over 50 original illusions for his shows and special events throughout Asia.

J C has also written 3 original books on theatrical illusion for the magic community. The books have been sold in over 35 countries and have received international critical acclaim.
