Read below for information on:

Inversion -
The Blindfolded Upside Down Escape

A Mega Escape is defined as a spectacular complex escape stunt that is performed in an iconic location, surrounded by a live large audience and in an uncontrolled environment. The legendary Harry Houdini built his legacy on such stunts.

In 2008, 'Magic Babe' Ning become the first professional female magician in South East Asia to successfully attempt a mega escape of this nature.

In the current age of CGI, special effects and ‘reality’ television, entertainment has lost its authenticity. On 21 Jun 2009, Sun, Singapore’s only professional female magician & escape artist, ‘Magic Babe’ Ning, brought back real danger in a live extreme escape stunt.

Like an early-day Jackie Chan stunt, ‘Magic Babe’ Ning successfully attempted a legitimately dangerous escape dubbed “Inversion”. This stunt was a one-off variation of her signature ‘”Straight Jacket Striptease” act which Ning candidly describes as “Harry Houdini meets the Pussycat Dolls”.

What made this straight jacket from others in the world:

Any mistake could have led to a fatal fall.

The choice of not using a safety line in the escape has drawn concern and criticism from friends, family, clients, peers and suppoters from across the world. Typically, escapes of this nature will utilize some form of fail-safes or safety devices that are either used openly or covertly.

Hundreds of people turned up inside Central mall to witness ‘Magic Babe’ Ning’s saring escape!

Singapore's fearless magical lady who was called “the sexiest woman in magic” (Magic Seen) and was voted the 16th sexiest woman in the world (FHM Singapore) is no stranger to extreme escape acts. One year ago on 5 July 2008, ‘Magic Babe’ Ning became the first professional female magician in South East Asia to successfully attempt a mega escape, entitled "The Impalement Cage".

In full-view of a surrounded audience of 4000 people, ‘Magic Babe’ Ning picked her way through handcuffs, locks, shackles and chains to free herself from a steel cage with a bed of 13 stainless steel spikes, timed to crash down on her in 90 seconds.

The new “Inversion" mega escape was a promotional teaser stunt for “The Impossible Record”, a world record attempt for the 'most number of grand illusions performed in 5 minutes' that stars Ning & J C Sum.

This escape has generated interest in numerous media & fourms so far:
